Almena Analytics MCP

Token-authenticated, workspace-scoped access to approved Almena benchmark and market analytics.

Subscription access

An active subscription and workspace token are required. The connection URL and token are issued inside the customer workspace after access is activated.

Service boundary

The Almena Analytics MCP provides curated decision-support analytics rather than unrestricted replication of upstream source data.

What customers can use

The available catalogue is shown by the MCP client after authentication and varies by subscription and workspace entitlement. Public capabilities may include:

Auction Energy, Continuous Intraday, aFRR, mFRR, Capacity Revenue and Stacked Revenue benchmarks.
Realised Performance and Project Benchmark series where included in the workspace subscription.
Spanish and European market analytics approved for customer delivery.
Reference-asset comparisons and clearly labelled modelled outputs.
Coverage, methodology version, limitations and source attribution.

Tool names and schemas returned by the live service are authoritative for the customer's current entitlement. Documentation never implies access to an unlisted capability.

Authentication and workspace scope

Use the MCP URL displayed in the Almena workspace.
Send the workspace token as a bearer credential using the client configuration shown in the onboarding page.
A token belongs to one workspace and inherits its plan, permissions and usage limits.
Tokens are secrets: do not paste them into prompts, source control, tickets or shared documents.
Rotate a token after suspected exposure and revoke tokens that are no longer needed.

Usage and commercial boundary

Permitted use, retention, redistribution, caching, attribution, automated extraction and service limits are governed by the customer agreement and applicable plan. Access to public-source-derived analytics does not transfer upstream-data rights or authorise resale of raw data.

Unavailable is not zero

Unavailable values remain unavailable; they are never represented as zero. Public-source availability does not automatically authorise bulk commercial redistribution.

Errors and support

Condition	Meaning	User action
Authentication failed	Missing, invalid, expired or revoked token	Check the workspace and issue or rotate a token
Not entitled	The plan or role does not include the requested capability	Review the subscription or ask a workspace administrator
Rate limited	The applicable request allowance was reached	Wait for the reset or change plan
Unavailable	The requested period or source is not available	Review response coverage and warnings; do not treat it as zero
